From another thread:

Technik 1 in NYC claims that they are the only premier clear bra installer in the area. They only do custom-made bulk film as well.

I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with them? With all the talk of Premier doing such great jobs applying paint protection I would like to find a company in the NYC metro area that does equal work to Premiers, who is located in SoCal.

if you know of any other shop/company that does great work post it up here also. Thanks :drink:

I've spoken to Gus. Debating whether to get it done. They only do 3M film. Have looked them up a bunch they're pretty well known for V1 mirror etching installs and exotic detailing. He said they have clear bra samples in the shop you might want to just go and stop by. Would be about $1,500 for full front, rear bumpers, fenders, and partial hood. They also do Huper Optik tinting. The only alternative in NY is www.detailingdynamics.com who it looks like uses 3M as well.

I checked out that thread on Fchat, I spoke with Eddy from DD and he doesn't recommend me doing the full hood b/c imperfections in the 3M wrap plastic become very visible when doing the full hood, he said he could go all the way upto the bulge but doesn't recommend going past it. Detailing dynamics work is apparently top notch and I am very surprised about this all, his quote is a $1460 for front bumper, side skirts wheel archs, headlights, and partial hood and fenders.

What do you think? I really want to get the full hood done, I don't know what to do now, should I just get the partial hood done?

what exactly does he mean by imperfection? on the website there are pictures of lambos getting a full hood coverage and its unnoticeable.

monsta, take a look at dealers in your area - www.xpel.com or invisiblepatterns.com

Hope this helps!

i took my 06 m3 there to get it tinted. they did a really nice job and had a ton of exotics in there that they were doing stuff to fro their respective dealerships. My only complaint was their pricing it was rather expensive but the car was brand new so i really didn't care cause it looked greatttttttt! and he aint charge me tax!
