View Full Version : Anyone up for Silvervision parking bulbs?
Any of you guys picking up Philip Silvervsion bulbs for your front indicator lights?
Would be nice if we could get GB from a vendor here.
Fifth, you out there again?

Thats a pretty good idea, these are the H1 bulbs right?

Um not sure exactly, they are just like the standard OEM ones(PY21W). I've used these for the past 5 years or so and love them, no problems at all.
Here is an example:

So, they look clear and have a nice amber glow at night.
What do you think? I assume a lot of people would be into this:confused2

Looking at the manual, PY21W bulbs are used for taillight turn signals.
The front turn signal uses PY24W "Silver vision" I guess they are already silver bulbs? lol

Aren't they stock now? Read the description of #9 here:

Edit -- missed Fifth's reply

Hey Greg....very nice find. Hmm, they do look a bit less orange, but still more orange than the silvervisions.

If this is the case, you just saved me some coin. I haven't examined these in person too much. Will take a look at the dealer's model.

This wouldn't be a simple install. You'd have to remove the entire headlight unit, as the chassis covers the entry to the turn signal.

Prob not worth the effort. I'm stuck in the e46 mind frame, where the egg yolk look was horrible.

There are access panels in the wheel well.
