I know the later E46's play them, but I'm not sure about the E9x. Has anyone tried yet?

No video is supported from the in-dash DVD player. Only for Nav data disks (or Mp3 audio files).

I decided to upgrade my original order to include the USB port. The price of these things have come down so much that 1g one are next to nothing.

One pleasant extra with MP3s played in the car is that full album names and track listings come up on screen; for CDs, you can only see CD no. and Track no.

Just get the USB option. I have it plus a 16gb Corsair stick (£50) and get full listings etc and it holds absolutely loads.

I just burned some MP3's with a CD. I inserted it into the CD slot, but it won't read it. I then inserted it in the DVD (taking the NAV CD out). Still cant figure out how to work.

Can the stereo play MP3's? Any help would be appreciated!

Looking at the manual... it says "CDs with compressed audio files, MP3s, can be played by the CD player and CD changer." No more details beyond that. So, it should work.

What are you using for burning? iTunes is excellent, as well as Nero as long as you burn the CD as a MP3 CD.

Actually did some research within the site. Screw this, just gonna buy the 32 Gig Corsair and USB plug it in
