On the website it says OEM e92 M3 exhaust weighs 59-60 lbs, this titanium one weighs 23 lbs!!! Thats less than half!! And it costs 10k!!!

Looks like a rats nest to me.
One of those "sets of cats" are probably resonators of some sort.

not a chance
that looks really sweet and REALLLLLY expensive. I would personally prefer to see that as more straight pipe and not as many bends. Also looks like it has 2 sets of cats, an x-pipe, 1 set of resonators and 1 set of mufflers..........I would prefer fewer cats as well in an aftermarket piece.
basically what I am saying is i'm sure you could make a much cheaper exhaust that would hold up just as good and make more HP. Of course then you couldnt brag to your buddies about your 10k titanium exhaust.

alot of the cost is associated w/ full titanium...trying to weld titanium again I have read requires specific tools/machines/experience etc. I agree 10k is ridiculous...even 5k is kinda steep for an exhaust. But titanium exhausts also have their own specific 'tone' which sound alot different from other exhausts.

With an N/A V8 motor it is good to have the added back pressure for more power... F/I motors benifit from zero back pressure on the other hand...

I've been looking into this exhaust, and found some interesting stuff. There is no performance data for it -- no real HP figures. If you dig deep enough at the Ericsson web site -- by translating to English -- you'll find that the HP figures they have posted...they made up out of thin air (they even admit it).
So here's the $11500 question:
1. How many people would buy this exhaust without real performance data?
2. How many people would buy this exhaust without hearing it?
I'm guessing that 2) may be important to some, but not important to others. I'm also guessing that 1) is important to almost everybody who's considering buying an $11500 exhaust. But just in case it's not, here's question 3:
3. How many people would just buy it based on looks alone?
