These are not simply bulbs. They are LED's unlike GP thunder which are just halogen bulbs. PIAA and Bellof are the only 2 angel eye solutions for our cars that produce almost a equal brightness on both rings. They are also quite rare and hard to get.

Whether the price is to your liking is up to you but the price is not crazy.

Well, it's hard to say without seeing a comparison picture, but like I mentioned earlier, the GP Thunders are never going to give you a clean, spread out light.

These will always look more even.

Drop in voltage after your headlight is on, it's normal. LED based solution should take care of that.

Installation is fairly straight forward. The only difficult part was getting access to the bulb chamber. The two led v shaped arm needs to be squeezed together when inserting it into the bulb chamber. It helps to have small hands or a pair of long tweezers.

The design of the headlight makes it nearly impossible to have the out ring completely lit up

there is a black cap you remove that gives you access to inside the housing

Compress the Piaa and it slides right in

lol i got it done. Let me say this, you cannot see it AT ALL during the day. Im a bit dissapointed but well see come tonight how good it looks. Compared to the OEM bulb, you can see both rings full lit yellow but with the LED you cant see it at all in any ring. No point in pics lol

just installed my piaa, i have to say i'm a bit disappointed. it didnt turn out what i expected to be. the outer ring is still dimmer than the inner ring, it is obvious that the inner ring is a lot brighter than the outer ring. but it still looks better than the gp in my perspective.

As for the installation, I just put the bulbs in just as they were in the box, I did nothing to them. Removed the stock bulb and just put the LED the way I could (tiny space)... In the DIY thread (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28879) a member said the PIAA on the back of the bulb should be upwards? Could this be the case, because I couldn't find a way to put them that way, so currently the PIAA name on the back of the bulb is facing sideways/downwards.

The damn manual is in Japanese!!

Yea, i've been on vacation since last thursday, had I seem this earlier, I would have responded, but there isn't always access to a computer on the beach or out at the bars.

If you had an issue, did you try to call in and talk to one of my guys @ the shop?

We aren't here to scam anyone, I posted the pictures I had of the lights and people wanted them, so I sold them.

I didn't have daytime pictures, and to be honest, no one really asked for them when purchasing...if it was something you wanted to see, then waiting for the third or fourth batch might have been a wise thing to do.

I really dont get why you guys are all getting butthurt and blaming Zoeb. The early adopters made a conscious decision to buy it so they can get it first. The downside is there was no daytime pictures. If you were skeptical, why didnt you wait for people to receieve it and then make a choice to buy it or not after reviews came out. Zoeb never guaranteed its bright in the daytime. He never put a gun to your head and said you have to buy it.

You made up YOUR own mind to jump in before you saw pictures and now that its not bright like you assumed it would be your mad? Looks like you are the only one at fault.

Like I said in another thread, it's not the vendors ripping people off, it's PIAA because these have to be imported from Japan. Add to the cost customs, shipping, etc.

Got them directly from Japan, the box and everything looks 100% the same. I have tested the LEDs before putting them in, all LEDs were lit.

I still want to believe I didn't install them correctly.

my point is that if you bought a BMW, it means that you must have some monetary resources ...

if you bought the car yourself, you must have a steady income to afford to maintain and upkeep your car

if someone else bought you the car, then there could be different possibilities, you can possibly have umlimited resources to mod the car, or maybe to modify the car you have to save up or what not.

regardless, if you wanted a solution to brighter angel eyes, its not going to come free. there will be a price for it. guess what? piaa has a 300 dollar solution for you, regardless of the outcome, it is a 300 dollar solution.

being cheap is complaining about the price for something that you want to try out, if you don't like the price then move on ... whats the point of complaining about the price? if you don't want to pay it, someone else will ... case in point, there are very good hartge replica out there on the market, but one time someone asked for a authentic piece ... despite there being tons of replicas out there, he wanted authentic ... the only ways that i have seen e92 angel eyes get brighter and having either HID kit put in there and on the E90.2

i have seen gp thunders 7500k, 8500K and piaa in person during the day and night while driving in front of them and they all look about the same to me, but thats my personal observation ...

I just installed one of the sides and let me tell you, worst mod I've ever done in my life.

Had I known they would've been this shitty, I woulda rather paid $100 and got nothing, than $300 and been stuck with these piece of shyt bulbs.

Zoeb, have you been able to test these out yet? I'm willing to express ship these back to you (at my expense) for you to see for yourself. Granted I get a refund of course.
