I am planning to "clear bra" the bumper and headlights on my new M3 but, I am not a fan of the thin line across the hood if I clear bra the hood. Is anyone aware of a quality leather (or "pleather") bra for a new M3? I typically use this on my 330Ci for highway trips and remove for local driving. Not sure if anyone is making the hood-only bra yet.

Please don't. They're so ugly and can ruin your paint from constantly rubbing.

I would use one for cross country trips. Once or twice a year. I sure as heck don't want to be rolling around with blue painters tape all over the bumper. So, anyone making one yet?

This is the use I am talking about. I do a good amount of cross-state driving and would use it for that...then take it off for the weekend when I am doing suburban driving. I just don't want to clar bra the whole hood or partial hood. I searched and have not seen anyone making one as yet.

Is anyone aware of a manufacturer making one?

They're vinyl not leather.

They work very well and don't affect the paint if:

1. You don't use them all the time (for years) and
2. You clean the insides well before putting it back on and
3. You don't leave it on the car to dry after it gets wet

They're especially beneficial when used on the track.

Vinyl/pleather/leather bras are butt ugly. End of story.

I can see how youwould want one for a long trip - for me a drive to Sears point results in a few thousands bugs stuck to the front of my car - they are a biotch to remove. the bra would really help.

try Colgan - they make the best ones.
