Funny, for all I know, I'm the only e92M3 owner in fricken the Bay Area(sarcasm); especially in SG.

All I see are my old e46M3 locals looking at me drive and you can see their minds work and possibly think, "what's that sound, hmm bumper, mirrors, hood, roof....335.....wait, shit the new M3."

Where are you guys?

I'm in SF and commute to Palo Alto during the week. I have not seen any others on the road either. It's nice to have a car that is still rare. Went to Weatherford BMW today and they had two E92 M3's - one in Silverstone and one in Space Grey. They also have an AW E90. They were still asking for 10K markup. Perhaps there aren't more on the road because the dealers are sticking to their high mark-ups (in addition to the economy, of course)?

I have to say, the Space Grey looks pretty good - it's a toss-up for me as to whether I like my AW or that better.

I know Jinxter is in the area too - was hoping to meet up with him last weekend to check out the painted reflectors he has, but schedule didn't work out.

You and Jinxter are the only ones I know on this forum that are in the Bay Area.

Believe only $40 bucks per year and you get Roundel, additional mags, and discounts on parts/cars at local dealers.

Driving events cost aroun $500 for the weekend, but they are fricken awesome.

I haven't seen another E92 yet on the road. I've had mine three weeks. Break-in is over.

HRE 540R's already on order -- nearly three weeks ago -- should arrive in another week or two.

I've only seen one, and it looks like it might have been yours. It was about three-weeks ago, near the Golden Gate Bridge, on the SF side. And my eyes almost popped out of my head because the Space Gray is amazing looking. I was driving an e92 335i titanium silver with a full factory aero-kit.

I live in Pacific Heights, friends in the Marina..and head to Marin often; so if in that area it's probably me.....I'm the only one in that area with SG...this I can almost say with certainty.

So far Jet Black or AW, is all that I've seen. Fmquadri and a few other JB's are around the city...however none I've seen while I've actually been in my car, unfortunatley.

There is also a Silverstone II that parks on the street on Filbert, in between Laguna and Webster.

You're relatively close to me as well.

Detailing shop....that's a hard one for SF. There is car wash on the corner of Lombard and Scott...decent....but not the best.

I generally take mine to a place in Marin and provide my own wax and towels....they are awesome....but in SF, i really haven't found a place i trust.

Let me know if you have any luck finding somewhere here.

Un fricking believable. After owning my own E92 M3 since April, and knowing that 5 of these cars are owned by employees where I work, until today, I still hadn't actually seen an E9x M3 on the road outside of a car show or meet.

Today, driving home from MFest, I spotted a black E92 M3 on I-5 in the central valley, near highway 198 -- Harris Ranch exit.

Finally after 5 months, I saw one.

I can do Pleasanton occasionally, but it's a stretch as I live in south San Jose. For me it would be a once in a while thing. Milpitas or Fremont, on the other hand, is more doable.

However, if it was more than a "hang out in the local Best Buy parking lot", where we'd actually do something, then I'd go for it.

not a bad idea. Plus they are running some specials with the bay area half off deals. I think they had some certificates of $100 for only $50. I haven't been there. I've been to LeMans in Fremont and Go Kart Racer in Burlingame. I prefer GO Kart Racer > LeMans, but it's further.
