I really want to get the Sport Package when I order the E90, but I live in the NYC metro area... Because of this, I would not be able to keep the performance tires... I don't have anywhere to switch out or store tires, so I was wondering if all season run flats were a option for me to buy after getting the car? I currently have them on my E46 330i with 17" tires, and I have never had a problem during the winter months.

Thanks

I'll say last year I used 18" All season tires and got around just fine in the winter. Good all seasons are really good and will do you just fine in a typical NY winter. So go for it with no worries !

Same here.
I live on Long Island, getting the 330i with sport package...
Can't keep the runflat performance tires in the winter, so I will probably swap the tires for all-season runflats. I currently use 16 inch all seasons on my 325i, and they worked just fine in the winter even in the snow. I don't think winter tires are necessary.

Are there even any 18" all season runflats to buy though?

Hmm... I'm sure they'll start making them soon if they aren't, because many new and popular cars coming out like this one use runflats.

Guys, 18" all season runflats are rare right now, but they exist. The 745 can be ordered with 245/45R18 All-Season SBR Run-Flat BSW tires so they do exist. Quackman is probably right you'll see more and more of them availble since a lot of cars are going to run-flats.

I will consider those as well......Did you get all the same size tires or did you stick with 225/fronts 255/rears OEM spec???? That was another question...
