is he quoting 3M clear bra for the full hood, or another product such as VentureShield?

3M clear bra for the full hood. Based on my research it seems 3M is the way to go.

actually Venture currently makes the best film. least orange peel, and it has a clear coat now. thier new film is supposed to be the best. - check out my install. (995 is a good price for full front. ) the full front film kit is 900 thru xpel , plus its 6-7 hours to install.

another word - at the dealer you never know who you are getting. and they mark it up - check the xpel.com web site to find an authorized dealer near you - i know the ones they list for my area are well known.

My dealer assured me it is 3M film. The one advantage I see is that it will be done right away as soon as my car arrives at the dealer so I won't have to drive around with either no protection or painters tape.

just make sure it is the 24 inch hood with the straight line. my dealer had one in the showroom that had a "smiley face" cut that did not provide anywhere near the needed protection.
