Looks perfect PG! You did an excellent job with the mods I have to say. I wanted to upgrade the brakes on my sedan but I think I have pushed things far enough with my wife so I will be "content" with where I am if you can believe one can be unhappy with a stock M3. :)

Thank you, it was very nice to meet you too, and I like the direction you're going also. I must say I thought your car was very sexy at the show. Brakes looked good too.

I understand the wife...thing. I'm having to explain to my wife on a regular basis what I'm doing...and why. There really is no "why" -- which makes the explaining even harder to do.

BBK's are a hard mod to explain :D, especially with the price.

Im just not sure why you would choose yellow calipers on the Red?

I just dont think it goes nice..Have you seen a red Ferrari with yellow calipers?

Just my opinion, but otherwise nice@!

Yes, in fact both Ferrari and Porsche have put yellow calipers on red cars...and this was exactly what I was looking at as the precedent to do these calipers in that color scheme.

Is it just me or is the drop not very noticeable? Seems like there's still quite a bit of gap

Oh Im sure Ferrari has done it, WHEN people have ordered them specifically like that from factory. They wouldn't say, "Uhhh...no MR.IMBUYING A CAR FOR $300 000 +++. You cannot put yellow calipers on your red Ferrari. Please choose another color for your calipers as we dont think it will go well with the Ferrari Red Paint."

They'll do it for you, but I don't think there are many out there.
But its your car man, its beautiful car and you, like the rest of us are very lucky people to be able to own these cars so cheers to you and enjoy your car!!:thumbsup:

Let's see if I can catch up on a few questions at once.

I don't know how it rides yet, because Eibach still has the car. They are developing a coil-over kit, and should have the prototypes installed later this week. Unfortunately, I won't be able to pick up my car from SoCal for another 3 or 4 weeks. I'll post a review after I get the car back.

The uneven drop looks may be partially my fault. I was snapping photos pretty quickly and pretty low to the ground and from odd angles. This will definitely make the front and rear look uneven, and make the drop look very minimal. But there's also the possibility that the rear isn't as low as the front -- because there are spacers on the wheels to accomodate the Brembo BBK. New rear wheels will be available later this week, and the spacers will be removed -- thus allowing both front and rear to be set at the proper ride height.

That may be so for Ferrari's. But as for Porsches, if you order the Ceramic Brakes, the calipers were yellow, period. If you ordered the standard brakes, they were red, period.

Pencilgeek, still nice car nevertheless only the minor details, keep us posted. Man that sucks not being able to drive the car for 3 to 4 weeks. I hope they are giving you some good compensation:thumbsup:

Front wheels are no spacers, rear wheels are 8mm spacers. 8mm spacers will be removed when the new wheels arrive.

Great looking wheels but they're too large, the rubber's too thin and as a result the combination doesn't work (IMO).

Also, the brakes would have looked about 1000% better if you went with red.

I'm sure you enjoy it and that's what's important but it's not done right (again IMO). You're so close but still far away.

Not to revive an old thread from the dead, but.....

PencilGeek, now that you have drove on the Eibachs for a while now, can you give a review of your impressions, etc.?

Your car looks great PG! Are you using spacers with your setup?
