E90bedi, when you stepped on your brakes did the pedal felt rock hard? If so that is exactly what I experienced too but luckily it failed not going down hill or on Highway.
This is seriously no joking matter, I don't care if people don't believe what's happening but in all honesty whoever is picking up a new bmw please be aware this happened on new 2013 models.
It also looks like guitarplayx had the same issue. However I am curious how the brakes are for him after master cylinder was replaced. My car was manufacturered in February. You can probably check the VIN number to figure out what date it was made. I am guessing there is a small batch that may be bad and bmw will eventually issue a recall on affected vehicles.
