I'm confident you will have more than enough space on the strut side. Because you are using 8" wide front wheels you have an extra 6mm clearance over most people with 8.5" wheels. If you change to coilovers, then you might need to run a spacer to clear the tire, but OE style struts aren't that wide. I guess you will have close to 10mm gap between the tire and the strut.
