And there's another issue that perhaps for some is unimportant. In the E92 also already happening and it seemed an incomprehensible error in the design and it's repeated in the F32.
When you lift the lower trunk lid, it covers the dome and you see nothing.
One way to solve it (I did it also in the E92)

Was thinking about the same problem in the trunk. Did you get an LED strip and run the wire to the original trunk LED?
