They will do the older(est) cars first in most cases because they are the ones considered more susceptible to causing injury due to the age of the airbag. They are years behind, and not just BMW. So even though you might have an E90 or F30 series that would have an airbag that would be subject to it do not count on replacement for quite a while. Also areas of higher humidity have a greater risk. So think how many vehicles are out there since around 2001/2002 they'll need to get to before yours.
