So you also got Conti SportContact for your fronts, but in 245/40 or 245/35?
I would get 235 for my front, but the Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 tire that I'm currently running only has 245/40 and 225/40 (next size down)... but no 235. If that is the case, I'm debating to just switch to 275 in the rear (275/35/19) to stay within 1%... and if the car is truly rear-biased, then the difference in diameter would reduce over time.
Seems like 225/40 for the 8.5" wide rim is the absolute minimum for these Hankook tires - it wouldn't offer the same comfort as 245 and protection for the rim from pot holes.
I have the option to stick with 245 and go larger in the rear since the dealer just discovered the root cause of rubbing - seems like the front assembly was incorrectly repaired in the past
