The BMW USB fitting has a different end, on the bottom. So, you can't just hook up a USB cable to it & run it underneath the center console to the N7.

Do you happen to have a picture of how that turned out? Interested in this design.
However, I might go with the USB 3.0 and AUX retrofit in the armrest and then the other USB connection elsewhere - Just saw a thread where someone installed the USB connection in the back of the small tray in the center console, behind the shifter, where the IDRIVE Controller would go.
