Lowering springs do not attract much attention, unless of course the dealer believes the lowering springs may have played a role in a component failure: typically _anything_ in the suspension ecosystem and sometimes drivetrain as well.

If the warranty is about to expire, the decision is simpler. I suggest to match lowering springs with shocks designed for shorter springs. Or - consider coilovers.
It has 27.000 miles, it's RWD and is a 2016 so I think I'm not covered by the manufacturer anymore, however, I got a dealer warranty extension up to 100.000 miles on certain components.

Approximately how much quicker will the stock shocks with lowering springs would wear compared to leaving the stock springs? My main issue with coilovers is that they are much more expensive than only springs.

Thanks man!
