You can do it. But the restrictive downpipe is going to slow down the overall response and may overheat the catalytic converter causing an O2 error code to pop..
Beyond that... Let it rip. I'm running Stage 2+ on my 2013 X5 35i and it's a beast....
If you decide to do it get 1 step colder plugs too...
