One thing nobody mentions is that there there are a total of 3 valves with such orange membranes sealing airflow in various directions. The top circular membrane might be the one to fail first but there also two other ones that open and close which can also get clogged or go bad so it’s recommend to replace whole valve cover to prevent doing this job twice.
