I also asked Maxton if this diffuser was available in carbon hoping they'd be willing to do a custom job for a fee but no dice.

I tried starting the middle last night but hit a slight issue, because I'm using herringbone weave the fabric is pretty rigid as it meets in the middle.. I was also totally out of vacuum bagging sealant which I didn't realise until I had begun

I did think of a better plan later on though, the underside has a really clean negative mold, I'm hoping to use release agent on it and create an impression that I can lift out and stick on the other side.
