Scott, your posts are always welcome. The concerns that I personally have include BMW's added emphasis on X vehicles, given the current economic climate, this necessarily means focus away from cars.

Many of us enthusiasts, your core market, are skeptical that BMW can sustain the investment in these M cars given the added attention of the X SAVs.

Clearly turbo charging will offer great fuel economy but will the KERs system help eliminate the turbo lag in the new M cars?

It is not enough to just beat the competition in the era with tighter requirments for emissions, we need the new M cars to deliver a much better experience that the current M cars....(which is pretty difficult).

Can you please provide some insight into BMW's thinking here for the M division?
