That has over done, F1 has become a "nanny-state". Why dont the FIA just remove all radio then? Like in the 60s and 70s.
Does this mean F1 is no longer a "team-sport"? Driver is almost on his own out on the track.
Yes I hate when drivers ask "tell me how to drive?" Because that's what the teams paid big bucks (or drivers pay the team in some cases
) for their employment. But as complex as current F1 cars are, optimizing settings during race is quite difficult.
Some warnings like "brake temperature" could be leading to a dangerous path if not warn ahead. Brake failure as we saw from Canada could lead to retirements or if complete disintegrate like Webber did in 2009 and crash out.
