Been shooting (when non professionally/not an event) a lot with my x100 and a teleconverter that turns it into a 52.5mm equivalent. My back no longer hurts (compared to a 5d3/7d 35L,50L,85L,17-40L,70-200L II, flashes, batteries, accesories etc). This is my new go to for going out or vacations.
Granted the teleconverter isn't super sharp in the corners, stopping down helps a lot.
Going mirrorless makes me never want to use my SLR unless it requires me to. The tradeoff between convenience and image quality is simply too huge. Plus, I never have to watch out for others messing up/breaking/spilling stuff on/stealing my gear anymore since the x100 is so discrete. The x100 kills at low light/high iso too (i can only imaging how much better the x100s is). I mean, there are serious limitations to it, but for 95% of casual shooting it is just as good.
