About a half dozen cars went off track during the event. One totaled. Even with AWD I got sideways at 50mph and recovered thanks to skills learned at the race track.
It might be easy for you to drive a 400 HP car in a straight line on a well maintained public road, but try going all out with an 800, 900, 1,000+ HP car on a dusty airstrip in the middle of the desert.
