It was pushing 100 here so I headed to the coast at Point Reyes. There usually isn't much bird action at the height of summer, but I managed to grab a few including this harrier that surprised me doing a high speed fly by. The 7D (now listed as discontinued on Amazon) and the 100-400 did a pretty decent job.
