read reviews on micro 3/4 cameras...
I thought J1 and N1 weren't that great.
I would recommend Sony Nex or olympus pen series.
I have the NEX 5n I love it.
For you price range I recommend the new nex F3. I don't think it's out yet but from the early reviews its better than the C3 and C3 is pretty awesome.
