Sorry to say, but I fear the end is near for the manual transmission, in the USA. With CAFE standards and certifications cost. I suspect it will not be long before they take the option away
Manual trans were cheaper, better MPG and fun to drive.
Then it was just better MPG and fun to drive.
Now just fun to drive.
Congrats on the MPG BMW, but please don't take away the manual option.
