That I agree with you. Hell, they could've at the very least included a scratch-resistant sapphire LCD display on the M9 for $7k. The high-ISO performance is lacking, but you are able to focus well in nearly no light, which you wouldn't be able to do on any dSLR.
They are releasing a new Leica M9-P camera later today, but from what I hear there are only cosmetic adjustments and a new LCD display for even more $$$.

I think Kevin meant it as a joke... I'm sure the MK II of this lens will come with the 5D3, which isn't being announced or released any time soon.
