Aus Phillip Island preview:
The 2014 Australian Grand Prix will see the world’s best riders return to Phillip Island on 17-19 October this year. World Champion Marc Marquez, crowd favourite Valentino Rossi and defending race winner Jorge Lorenzo will each defy the rules of nature with agility, courage and speed, as they battle it out around the picturesque circuit.

Watch the greatest riders on earth cornering at a 64* angle, overtaking with just millimetres to spare and reaching a top speed of up to 344 Kph, all desperate to reach the pinnacle, accepting the winner’s trophy at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.

Whether you are an avid MotoGP fan or new to the sport, you will experience an unforgettable weekend at the home of Australian motorcycle racing.

The Island has a reputation for being one of the most unique and breathtaking destinations on the international circuit – with panoramic ocean views and great spectator vantage points all around the track.

Across the weekend, the Moto2 and Moto3 categories will also take to the track – Australia’s Jack Miller is one to watch in Moto3 after a blistering start to the season and the Townsville native could be looking to secure his first World Championship at Phillip Island.

If that wasn’t enough, the best Australian road racers will compete in the second and final round of the 2014 Phillip Island Championship for Superbike, Supersport and Pro Stock, battling it out to claim victory.

Off track, the Australian Supercross Championship will lead the exciting line up of entertainment, as it continues to deliver high-flying action for fans.

The SPOKES Autograph stage will return in 2014, along with the GP EXPO, the Honda Junior GP, Show ‘n’ Shine, FLAIR Moto Trials, the Roulettes Aerial Display and much more.
