yes so the trigger just functions as a switch for the positive of the battery
only connecting the positive to the bulb when the OEM wire gives it power
i.e it will function exactly the same as the OEM bulb, but brighter.
day time running, parking light etc will all function as stock
but brighter

you'd still need a resistor connected to the OEM wire so the car doesn't sense that the bulb is no longer connected to it

this is what i did but i hand't tried the low voltage triggers so my angel eyes turn on and off with the AUX wire in the engine bay.
which is not the same as the OEM wire
i used to have the Angel eyes turn on as soon as i unlocked my car
now they only turn on when the key is in the ignition

i will install the low voltage triggers in my setup, once i am done with the stereo upgrade
installing SWS-8s and an amplified subwoofer in a tiny enclosure to the back of the ski hatch, so it fires into the car.
