For the base HiFi on the F30, the factory amp is located on the left side of the trunk/boot just under the recessed cubby hole on top of a metal bracket mounted to the trunk/boot floor.
The ASD amp is mounted to that same bracket adjacent to the factory amp (see pic). For the base HiFi system the flow is:
HU -> ASD -> Factory AMP -> speakers
