depends on your tires 245 mich pilot super sport will make rear flush without spacers although other tires needs like 265/275, Michelin has protection thing on their tires that makes them look bigger.
ran no spacers until i noticed lil bit scratches on my front suspension now am using 5mm and its clear,
not sure many ppl can answer your question better than me about your VMR wheels
