I have a 2007 E90 with iDrive and 6FL, latest software version with wastegate fix.
I plugged in my iphone 3GS and it works except I cannot charge. Did the pin-out change for the 3GS?
I have never tried an iphone 3G.
I haven't tried my 3.0 updated 2G iphone yet, will try later this weekend.
For those of you that have a 3G, did you have to get a new 6FL cable? is there a new part number for the cable that works with 3GS?
