DTC 60 and 70's do wear away the rotors a bit quicker than the oem pads when used below their operating temperatures, but not nearly at the rate of say...Hawk Blues.
DTC 60 and 70's will be a track pad, which you shouldn't really be using on the street anyway, but when they are warmed up they work great.
Have a look at the Ferodo DS2500, they are a "Club Sport" pad and work great for the street and for medium track duty.
