2020 update: just completed this for my 2016 535; I had to do just like in the video, and put a half washer on top of the ground wire and the grounding screw in order for their to be a full connection.
For the wire giving power, in the video he instructs to use the green/brown wire. This DID NOT work for me at all. I ended up using the thicker red/brown wire, and BOOM, my Valentine started up no problem.
