That's unfortunate. I've pulled my 7DI out of my back to shoot a month and a half after I last charged it and gotten a decent days shooting in before. My 7DI is also good for the 7 thousand+ shots I take in a single day of heavy track work.

Maybe they'll release a firmware update to help with that.
