I think a guy should indeed take a girl out and have fun and pay her way, but it's not like the guy necessarily owes you anything, he's doing it because he likes you, obviously, or maybe something else, but, I would like to think that whenever I'm out w/ "my girl"- fictional character at the moment - I wouldn't have to buy anything and everything she wanted, that's for the wifey. It's really techy and somewhat hard to explain, but simply put, a realtionship of ANY kind is a TWO way street, not a one way street.
And for the bit about scumbag guys, I would have to agree that it seems that most girls are attracted to, euhm, for the lack of a better word, "bad boys"..???... I figure girls just don't have a clue as to what they want, thus they allow themselves to get hurt over and over and over and over again, til they finally grow the ffff up!
