I've noticed a lot of new owners popping into the Ohio thread recently (myself included) and there appears to be quite a few people that would like to get together with some like minded people to talk about and drive their cars. In a previous life I've setup quite a few of these things, so I figured "what the hell?" and jump right back into it.
Every Saturday in Columbus we do a Cars and Coffee down near OSU's campus. I was thinking that we could have an early meetup there, then head to the Tilted Kilt in the Polaris area for lunch. They have already graciously offered us a 20% discount as well as our own parking section.
Following lunch we have a couple of options. The Ohio Valley region of the SCCA is having a club race at Mid Ohio (about an hour away), OR... I could try to work with some local businesses and the two local BMW dealerships to attempt some sort of poker run and cruise.
I'd like to know:
- What's the interest in getting together as a group?
- What would you like to do after lunch? SCCA @ Mid Ohio or Poker Run and Cruise?
- Is there anything else you guys would like to do? Dyno day? etc?
