First, the configuration:
-2014 F31, May 2013 build
-no navigation
-does have 6NS - enhanced Bluetooth and smartphone integration
-iPhone 4S running iOS 7 connected using USB cable in armrest
Next, the symptoms:
-album art and song info displays fine when playing from my iTunes library but only intermittently when playing songs using iTunes radio
-I can skip to the next track using the iDrive control knob but the steering wheel song selector (the little roller on the right side) doesn't do anything other than display the title of the currently playing track
-it seems to display correctly when I manually skip to next track
-then it goes back to "unknown artist" and "unknown song" (& no album art) when it finishes that track (even though the track title will display if I active the steering wheel track selector)
I can live with not being able to select iTunes radio (or select the station) via iDrive, but it would be nice if it would show the album art and song info like it does when playing from my iTunes library. Any ideas?
