I honestly don't know why people say the the 328xi is slow...I have an 07 e92 328xi and the power is just enough for me. If you need the car to accelerate faster off a red light or merging into oncoming traffic then maybe you shouldn't be merging into traffic at that time. I came from an 05 G35 coupe and yes, its not as beastly, but I was not disappointed when I made the switch. Good luck on your car hunting!
