Well I will be anxious to read about your experience. I think my next big camera purchase is going to be either the 500 or 600 for use with my 1D4 (not counting the NEX6 I just ordered). I just need to save up some more. I just bought a custom made chair adapter for a Segway that should allow me to finally get off the pavement a bit more, and that took a bite out of my photography fund.
