For spur of the moment quick shots and stuff though, I just don't have the menus down enough and it frustrates the heck out of me sometimes, whereas I can grab any of my canon bodies and use them without thinking.
Since I'm not flying and not dealing with TSA, and will have my own car coming back, I don't mind lugging the heavier gear. I like to be prepared for anything.  |
Have you updated the firmware for your x100? The AF speed is greatly increased. It's way more usuable than how it was when it was from the factory firmware.
