i think its a combination of factors with the team's form picking up. but henry leaving is definitely a good thing.

1)the youngsters are coming of age, the level of maturity in big games have increased and they are definitely stepping up. abou diaby, sagna, denilson.etc..

2)the new senior players like rosicky have settled in to EPL's playing style.

3)when henry was around, too many plays surrounded him. if he's off form, the team didnt do well either. arsenal is playing more like how they did before in 2001-02 n 2004-05, where goals are comings in both from the midfield as well. far better goal distribution as opposed to just from henry the " talisman"


chelsea's poor start to the season is definitely due to the injury crisis. besides drogba(top scorer for 06-07 season), their other strikers have yet to be proven in EPL nor champions league for chelsea. esp shevchenko
