Let me put it this way ... I am in my 24th car, not counting company cars and the endless rented cars during my business life
I don't know what the average number of cars during a life time is ... wait I Googled it and the answer is ,,, "They say the average person has 12 cars in their lifetime"...
So I guess I'm a car nut
My first ever car was a 1953 Oldsmobile and our first ever new car was a 1961 VW Beatle.
I owned 11 German Cars (one VW, three Mercedes and seven Bimmers four of them M3's).
My first Bimmer (and my first toy) a e28 535is was purchased in 1987 and is still in the family.
All the rest were American cars, mainly GM cars and some Ford's. The last American Car I purchased was in 1995 it was a Jeep Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition.
After that only Mercedes and Bimmers.
