Hi all,

With the new specs and photos that have come out the last couple days, there's been a lot of talk about the (seeming) lack of LSD standard. I believe some have speculated it could be an option.

I'm not a car guy, really. I follow car news on a daily basis, particularly the 2 series because I'm interested in getting one, but I really don't know much about under the hood.

I read most of the wiki on LSD, but that left me with more questions that answers. Would someone mind breaking down for me what kind of real benefit I could see with LSD? Better handling, better mpg? I'm inclined to trust the folks in this forum when they say it's good to have, but I kind of need to know more to feel comfortable paying extra if it's an option.
