Great news! The F30 335d xDrive (313hp 630NM) is now on BMW UK's configurator - but there is a problem which I sincerely hope is a mistake.
Now as we know, the "4 cylinder engines" (320i/d and below) have a single, side exhaust.
The "6 cylinder engines" (325i/d-330i/d) get dual, side exhausts.
The range toppers (335i/d) get twin exhausts.
The speech marks have been used because the 328i and 325d are now 4 pots with 6 pot power.
HOWEVER! The new F30 335d does not get the twin exhaust treatment as we expect, like the 335i. Instead, it gets the "6 cylinder" dual, side exhausts.
I may not even have the cash or (extra) want for a 335d when I change in 2015 and may go 330d instead, but I believe tradition should be followed and the 335d gets its well deserved twin pipes!! ESPECIALLY AS IT DOES 0-60 IN 4.8 SECONDS HOLY SHIT!!!! :O
Please, tell me it's just a configurator problem.
