Thanks for the advice, I tend to agree. I have looked, and they seem a lot more expensive than elsewhere, which is a shame, but you obviously get a lot more reassurance. For my budget it just means I'd need to get a lot older car with higher mileage compared to the other options. For example a 2007, 320d Touring with 72k miles is 12k, and I wouldn't be interested in that age or mileage, so you can see why the Big Motoring World featured car that isn't actually available when you call seemed so attractive at first glance when 1k cheaper, 30k less miles and 4 years younger. However, given this thread I imagine you get what you pay for even if it was available!
