OK, so you get to control the camera through iDrive? That's it? Just a remote record button and config settings? Hmmmmm.
Hey GoPro, how about you take it up a notch better:
Feed the ODB-II data of speed, RPM, brake, throttle, and gear (or any other user selectable field) from the car's data bus and overlay that onto your video feed.
NOW you have something that I really can use. Should be doable, IF, BMW will pass that data to the BMW Apps? Just a thought.
Would sure give that Corvette video solution a 1-up.
