Okay, yes, it's nifty, but that's it.

Seems like one more thing that will cost money and be notably useful once or twice over the time one owns the car. I'm sure everyone will have that one moment in their life when it comes in particularly handy, but otherwise...pshaw...

From a safety standpoint, I'm not sure I'm all that keen on the thing either...Yes, it's probably better than a driver having to operate a separate camera -- phone or real camera -- but outside of that, I don't really think that while driving is the best time for one to take pics/videos. Seeing as passengers don't really need an integrated camera in the car, I just don't get this thing.

I wish BMW would spend their time "integrating" specific automotive features into the car rather than tech gizmos that have nothing to do with actually operating a vehicle.
