I understand your car has the DSL R4's fitted in the OEM mounting holes. Did these speakers fit right away? Did you have to modify the door panel in any way? I'm am thinking of getting these myself as a replacement for the stock speakers and power them with a Blaupunkt amp, just like you did. Thanks a lot for all your input and detailed pics btw.. I don't have my E90 sedan yet, I think I can pick it up in a couple of weeks. Originally I ordered a 318i with the Logic 7 upgrade as a new company car but BMW wasn't taking orders anymore. I settled for an already produced car with some nice packages. I don't really like the car's facelift anyway. But.. my car won't have L7 so I will have to arrange something in the audio department myself since I don't think much of the basic stock sytem...
